Bobcat Insignia Coin

The first rank earned by all Cub Scouts®, the Bobcat rank symbolizes the commitment to achievement that is the foundation of all Scouting® life. In earning the Bobcat rank, boys recite and explain the Cub Scout Promise™ and the Law of the Pack™, and give the Scout handshake, sign, and salute. Preparing for and completing these tests is an indication of a Scout's willingness to contribute to his pack and his desire to progress toward higher ranks in Scouting as he matures.

This diamond-shaped coin pays tribute to those who have earned their Bobcat badge. The obverse features the Bobcat Rank Insignia. The reverse includes a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy and finished in antique bronze, the obverse side of this coin is accented with blue and yellow enamel. Each coin comes packaged with a header card that describes the Bobcat rank.
