Tenderfoot® Scout Insignia Coin

The Tenderfoot rank is awarded upon completion of a number of requirements in the areas of physical fitness, civic and community service, camping, and other outdoor activities. To receive the Tenderfoot Badge, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in tying knots, administering basic first-aid, hiking and camping, preparing meals, folding the American flag, and other skills that they will need as they advance toward the higher Scouting® ranks.

This oval-shaped coin honors all those who have earned the Tenderfoot rank. The obverse features the Tenderfoot Rank Insignia. The reverse features a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy and brushed with an antique bronze finish, this medallion features rich enamel accents on both sides. Each medallion comes packaged with its own header card, which describes the achievement of earning the Tenderfoot rank.
