Star Scout Coin

The Star rank is awarded to those Scouts who have demonstrated a long-term commitment to Scouting. The specific requirements for the Star rank include actively serving as a First Class Scout™ for at least four months, holding a position of responsibility for at least four months in a Boy Scout™ troop, earning six merit badges, and living the Scout Oath™ and Scout Law™ in everyday life. Candidates are also required to complete a Scoutmaster®-assigned leadership project to help their troop.

This coin is dedicated to those who have achieved the Star Rank. The obverse features the Star Insignia. The reverse features a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy and brushed with an antique finish, this coin is accented with bold enamel highlights on both sides. Each coin comes packaged with a header card that describes the achievement of earning the Star rank.
